I am going on this skincare journey not to have something to blog about, but because I’m starting to take my skincare more seriously. When I first started to learn about my skin and how to take care of it, I was learning so much valuable information that I wanted to have my own platform to share. I am proud of the strides I have made so far in my skincare journey. I really enjoy helping my friends with their skincare journey as well. As my skin is clearing up and looking better, the people around me have started to ask me for advice. By starting a blog, I am holding myself accountable in front of people to take better care of my skin and sharing valuable knowledge along the way.
I love to write and I have let life take me away from that passion, but I am back. I used to write poems and short stories and I loved it. We shouldn’t let those passions we had as kids and teenagers die because we got a 9-5. I remember at fifteen years old taking on the feat of writing and finishing a whole story. I completed that task and was so proud of that accomplishment. I was proud of my creativity. Fifteen-year-old Tracy would be saddened to know, I gave up writing after college.
I’ve always wanted to start my own youtube channel and now I have finally found a topic that I am passionate about. This project is my baby. I have so many ideas for what I want to do with this blog. I hope it pushes me out of my comfort zone and inspires others to do the same. I am a bit of a perfectionist who moves at a snail-like pace. I intend on this blog pulling out of this mentality that everything has to be perfect. I know I will make mistakes with this blog and I am going to have to push myself to stay consistent but I am excited.
I want to give a special thank you to my friends who pushed me to move beyond my fears and just start blogging. Not only did they provide me with the tools I needed to create a blog but they also held me accountable along the way. Thank you, Anthony Olen Smith and Neville Forbes. I don’t think I would have started a blog without your love and support.
This blog is making me happy. As I pull my passions back into my life, I want to inspire others to do the same.
I can’t wait to go on this Journey with you on self care and skin care! I’m tired of breaking the bank to take care of my skin. Looking forward to your advice on taking care of my skin and looking young!
